According to the recent developments the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has revoked the order and it will no longer be in effect from 12:01 AM ET on June 12, 2022.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), on December 6, 2021, amended the order dated October 25, 2021, “Requirement for Proof of Negative COVID-19 Test or Recovery from COVID-19 for All Air Passengers Arriving in the United States.” As per the amendment the requirements of the covid-19 negative report or documentation of recovery for passengers boarding flights from foreign countries to the United States were updated.
The order further went into effect after 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT) on December 6, 202 that was then published in the Federal Register.
